New Construction Quote
For builders, GCs, and owner-builders.
If you are managing new construction window installation in Canmore, you need a supplier and installer who shows up on schedule, delivers product spec'd for our climate, and does not hold up framing or the building wrap. Windows Canmore has worked alongside Bow Valley builders, architects, and owner-builders since 2014, installing on new homes ranging from compact ski-share townhouses in Spring Creek to large custom builds off Three Sisters Drive and Silvertip. Every install is sequenced around the framing crew, the building paper, and the cladding contractor so the envelope is closed in on time.

Mount types we install
Nailing fin
The most common new-construction mount in residential builds. A flange around the window perimeter nails directly to the sheathing, integrates with the WRB, and seals with self-adhered flashing tape.
Stat: Standard mount on 90% of wood-frame homes in Alberta.
Flange / box mount
Used in masonry openings and timber-frame post-and-beam construction. The window sets into a finished opening with anchor straps and is sealed at the perimeter with backer rod and silicone.
Stat: Required for stone-clad mountain modern facades.
Brick mould
Traditional trim profile around the perimeter. Common on heritage Banff infill and traditional Canmore cottages. Pairs well with horizontal lap siding.
Stat: Standard on Banff design-review approved heritage homes.
Working in the Bow Valley
New construction in Canmore is its own discipline. Wildlife corridor setbacks, Town of Canmore design review for Three Sisters and Silvertip, Banff National Park building permit requirements, and BCSI snow load calculations all dictate window selection and structural detailing. We have installed in projects governed by every one of these. Our quotes account for spec compliance, not just the cheapest product that meets Energy Star.
Why builders work with us
On-schedule delivery
We track lead times by manufacturer and confirm site delivery 5 working days out. Builders do not lose framing days waiting on us.
98% on-time delivery in 2024-25
Spec'd for zone 3
We catch undersized U-factor or low-PG ratings before they fail code or fail the building. Drawings are reviewed by an installer, not a sales rep.
Energy Star zone 3 baseline on every quote
Same crew, every project
No subbing to Calgary. The crew that quoted your project is the crew on site. That continuity is why our warranty rate is under 1 percent.
